Fix That Creative Block
There is something that all people face at one point or another in their lives. Creative block. There are many factors that may inhibit your creativity including fear of failure, negativity, stress, and impatience. However, there is something all these obstructions have in common. They can all- and I mean all - be fixed!
So I challenge you to, instead of immediately giving up, try and do at least one of these things the next time you feel “stuck”. By the end of this you will be convinced that not only is fighting creative block easy but enjoyable too.

I know you must feel like you just won the lotto. Yes, it’s true I’m telling you that daydreaming and even productive napping may help you be more creative. Daydreaming has been shown to enhance creativity. Taking a moment to allow your mind to wander can actually help with creative problem solving.

3. Create SomethingI challenge you to create something. ANYTHING.
It doesn’t have to be spectacular. I don’t care if it’s awful! It can be as easy as a fun recipe or a great iPhone picture. Here are some suggestions:

Barnet Bain, an award winning filmmaker, suggests “There is no perfection in creativity… you have to let that go, and until you do, it can be a major roadblock”. |
